So many people living inside their imagination

Too many people rely on drugs, feel they have to take them

To pass they day, they need their medicationSo many kids are depressed, and they skip out on the education

They′re living a life they don't want to live, its amazing

Staying inside away from other kids, cos they hate them

And now they′re kicked to the pavement

Felling like outcasts, live life without class

They shout, last thing they want to do is Xanax, but it helps the days pass

Want to be free from addiction but they can't

Be happy without a pill, without the high they only feel

Like only sadness is real, but when they die, they'll be fine because the emotions are killed

Lean to drugs to be sure your life is fulfilled

But the drugs end the lives of the skilled, that feel they don′t belong

Not going to lie to you, got some personal reasons I wrote this song

But there′s so many that were addicted, that now are gone

But it's all just chemicals for the afflicted they did nothing wrong

So, we remember those people who were only just crying for help all along

It′s a cry for help and

In response they're told to be calm

But they can′t, so they self-harm

Split veins, blood runs down their palms

It's insane, that they can′t

Deal with their own problems

So they turn to chemicals to solve them

Then its their fault they got involved

But they can't cope, they're told to have hope

But still, life falls apart and dissolves

There are ways to cope, you need to find them that′s all

For me, it′s the pen and pad

Whether I'm sad or mad

I write how I feel, that′s how I deal

With the emotion and this song is just how I'm coping

Open a window to my mind, see what′s inside

Live life in limbo

Ducking all responsibilities, and then go

Complain that I got no abilities

But in my head, it's all great

Same for others who need to cope
