First they built a tower, that was so high

It almost seemed to reach the sky

Then a man in the tower began to state

That the project was called G-78

He told everybody no need to fear

Because the age of the atom now is here

I felt a chill go down my spine

But could it be just in my mind

As guards rotate around, the site

Darkness comes and kills the light

At this point we both know

That the problem beginning will only grow

From the tower, by the hour

They say, we need nuclear power

Spend so much money on atomic needs

When the kids in Africa we should feed

Now nearby they build a site

And the man in the tower says it's all right

It's a source of power, I guess that's cool
